From its earliest days as a settlement, Arizona was shaped largely by Spanish and Mexican communities and culture. That cultural influence is deeply ingrained in the cuisine, architecture, language and art of Arizona. Jaynie Adams, the staff historian for the Arizona Historical Society and Associate Editor of The Journal of Arizona History, will discuss Arizona’s Latin American influence.
