Southern California is currently battling a series of destructive wildfires across Los Angeles County, including the Palisades, Eaton, and Hurst Fires. Fueled by dry vegetation, unseasonably warm temperatures linked to broader climate change patterns, and strong Santa Ana winds, these wildfires have spread rapidly, forcing widespread evacuations, destroying homes, and threatening communities from the Santa Monica Mountains to the San Gabriel Valley.
