We provided about 80 servings between in-person, second helpings, and carry-out dinners.

Blanket Bee October 26, 2023

The Blanket Bee was a huge success! Lots of food, fun and companionship made it easy for volunteers to spend the afternoon tying lots of fleece blankets together for children in need. Twenty blankets were completed, and will be distributed along with others completed earlier this year to children this fall and winter through Old Town Mission in Cottonwood.

The Sedona Women had 13 volunteers who prepared and cooked chicken a la king, seasoned corn, baked potato, wedge salad, and fruit salad. We served about 80 meals consisting of first and second servings to in-person guests plus many takeaway meals. TSW received many compliments from the guests for a delicious home cooked meal.

Many of our volunteers are repeat workers. We have a lot of fun during this much appreciated community event. Our next dinner is January 15, 2024.
