February Program - Vincent VanGogh Comes Alive in Sedona!

  • February 09, 2022
  • 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  • Creative Life Center
What better way to celebrate February than featuring an independent filmmaker! On February 9th, The Sedona Women program will introduce writer, producer, director and filmmaker Paul Davids to our podium. Mr. Davids offers a behind-the-scenes look at a film he wrote and directed entitled “Starry Night.” This film is a fantasy about Vincent van Gogh returning to the present and realizing his life’s work is worth billions. Interest in van Gogh’s life has recently intensified with the multi-media exhibits touring many cities and an acclaimed film called “Loving Vincent.” “Starry Night” showed in a previous Sedona Film Festival and won the audience choice award at the Newport Beach Film Festival. It is available for viewing on Amazon.

Paul Davids recently moved from Los Angeles with his wife, Hollace, where he and Hollace produced multiple films, most of which are on Amazon or streaming services. Paul is also an accomplished magician, so will conclude his presentation with a couple feats of magic to dazzle and bewilder.

A meet and greet begins at 9:30 am, followed by the program at 10 am at the Creative Life Center on 333 Schnebly Hill Road in Sedona. All attendees must be vaccinated and wear masks.
